Refund Policy

RETURNS
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for any reason. Because every book is made-to-order (and often personalized), we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.

DAMAGES

Replacements are available if your order arrives damaged. To request a replacement, please email nikkicastleromance@gmail.com within seven (7) days of delivery. In your email, please include the name and email that the order was placed under, as well as photographs of the damage. The pictures should showcase both the compromised item and the shipping package’s exterior and interior. This allows us to better understand the issue and expedite the process. Claims without this will be denied.

Our team will assess the damage and response within two (2) business days with the best course of action. This may include sending a replacement or offering a refund. Please retain your item until we confirm the next steps. Sometimes, we might ask you to return the product. Other times, we might ask you to dispose of the damaged product. 

Criteria for a Book to be Considered Damaged:

  • Tears, cuts, or noticeable scratches on the book’s front, spine, or dust jacket that exceed 1 cm.
  • Any marks or residue on the book’s front or spine that are larger than 1cm and can’t be removed.
  • Dents or crushed edges that surpass 1cm.
  • Multiple ripped or bent pages that hinder the reading experience.
  • Obvious production defects, like missing finishes.

Not Quite Damaged:

  • Minor blemishes on the back of the book or its dust jacket.
  • White spots, scuffs, or minor scratches on sprayed edges, slight bleeding onto pages, or issues related to the book’s top/bottom edge.
  • Slight discrepancies on sprayed edges.
  • Minor creases at the top or base of the spine, dust jacket, or corners.
  • Pages with a slight wave.
